I was having a hard time paying all of my bills and I knew that something had to give. I was tired of never having all of my bills paid at one time and it just seemed like I was on an endless cycle. I did some research and finally decided to consolidate credit cards. I had researched all of the other ways of getting debt relief but consolidation seemed to be the best way for me to tackle my financial situation. I didn’t want to instantly erase my debt completely for a couple of reasons. The only way to do that is bankruptcy, and I didn’t want that following me for years because I knew that it would be hard to get a house or car loan for quite some time. Also, I have a moral obligation to repay the money that I have borrowed. I may end up paying it back a lot slower than my creditors might like, but they will get everything that I owe them.
